Leadership Plus: Students Dedicated to Service
"I know no safe depositary of the ultimate powers of the society but the people
themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control
with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform
their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of
constitutional power."
— Thomas Jefferson
On Saturday, February 2, 2008, the Leadership Plus class—a master level course at Fairleigh Dickinson University—met to discuss Principles Of Visionary Leadership as a Response to the Crisis of Character. This group of students, under the guidance of Dr. Joseph A. Devine, is committed to their ongoing education and represents the future of America.
This was a highly energetic group that shared their insights on character and leadership as the launching pad for transforming our nation one student, one family, one organization, one community at a time.
