NYPD Women in Policing Conference

On Thursday, March 13, 2003, I was privileged to speak to many officers at the Women in Policing Conference at the NYPD Police Academy. The conference featured presentations and workshops designed to enhance networking within the department and with outside law enforcement agencies. The theme of the event was Women in Policing: Celebrating Over a Century of Service.

Because of my dedication to assisting law enforcement agencies with terrorism prevention through public and private partnerships, I presented "Terrorism Fundamentals: Facility Protection, Emergency Planning and Evacuations."

It was an honor to serve these dedicated members of the NYPD and an experience that will remain with me throughout the years.
