America's Fallen Police Officers: A Time to Mourn

Tragically, the articles I have had published for many years on the continual violence against America's police officers continues.

As I share these thoughts, this on-going scourge has no end in sight, and this week, it is particularly sobering. During a course of 5 consecutive days from December 6 through December 10, five police officers have been senselessly murdered throughout America.

In numerous previous articles, some of which are noted below, and in Reawakening America, the crisis of America's culture of violence has been addressed in detail.

But for the moment, let us heed to reflect on the wisdom from the Book of Ecclesiastes 3:4, reminding us that there is a "time to weep .. and a time to mourn."

Let us pause, look into the eyes of these fallen officers, and weep and mourn for their loss to their families, colleagues, communities, and for the five wounds to the very heart of America.
